11.
Moreover, they distribute the prophets in the following manner: Moses, and Joshua the son of Nun, and Amos, and Habakkuk, belonged to Ialdabaoth; Samuel, and Nathan, and Jonah, and Micah, to Iao; Elijah, Joel, and Zechariah to Sabaoth; Isaiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, and Daniel, to Adonai; Tobias and Haggai to Eloi; Michaiah and Nahum to Oreus; Esdras and Zephaniah to Astanphaeus. Each one of these, then, glorifies his own father and God, and they maintain that Sophia, herself has also spoken many things through them regarding the first Anthropos (man), 1 and concerning that Christ who is above, thus admonishing and reminding men of the incorruptible light, the first Anthropos, and of the descent of Christ. The [other] powers being terrified by these things, and marvelling at the novelty of those things which were announced by the prophets, Prunicus brought it about by means of Ialdabaoth (who knew not what he did), that emissions of two men took place, the one from the barren Elizabeth, and the other from the Virgin Mary.

11.
Auf folgende Weise werden nun die Propheten verteilt: Zu Ialdabaoth gehört Moses, Jesus Nave, Amos und Habakuk; zu Iao Samuel, Nathan, Jonas und S. 89Michäas; zu Sabaoth Elias, Joel und Zacharias; zu Adonai Isaias, Ezechiel, Jeremias und Daniel; zu Eloi Tobias und Aggäus; zu Hor Michäas und Nahum; zu Astaphäus Esdras und Sophonias. Von diesen verherrlichte nun ein jeder seinen Gott und Vater. Aber die Sophia verkündete ihrerseits durch ihren Mund vielerlei über den ersten Menschen und den unvergänglichen Äon, über den himmlischen Christus, indem sie die Menschen ermahnte und an das unvergängliche Licht erinnerte, den ersten Menschen und die Herabkunft Christi. Da nun durch diese Worte die Mächte erschreckt wurden und sich wunderten ob der neuen Verkündigungen der Propheten, da bewirkte die Prounikos durch den ahnungslosen Ialdabaoth, daß zwei neue Menschen ausgesandt wurden, der eine von der unfruchtbaren Elisabeth, der andere aus Maria, der Jungfrau.
