15. Von den Pflichten gegen Eltern und Verwandte.

Du sollst deinen Vater¹ und deine Mutter, die Urheber deiner Geburt, ehren, damit du lange lebest auf der Erde, deren Herr dein Gott, der sie dir gegeben. Unterschätze nicht deine Brüder und deine Verwandten, denn die gleichen Samens mit dir sind, sollst du nicht gering achten.²

XV. Concerning the Observance Due to Parents.

Thou shalt be observant to thy father and mother as the causes of thy being born, that thou mayest live long on the earth which the Lord thy God giveth thee. Do not overlook thy brethren or thy kinsfolk; for "thou shalt not overlook those nearly related to thee."¹
