Chapter IV. On the Death of Eusebius Pamphilus, Acacius succeeds to the Bishopric of Cæsarea.

At this time Eusebius, who was bishop of Cæsarea in Palestine, and had the surname of Pamphilus, having died, Acacius, his disciple, succeeded him in the bishopric. This individual published several books, and among others a biographical sketch of his master.

Kapitel IV. Nach dem Tod des Eusebius Pamphilus übernimmt Acacius das Bischofsamt von Cæsarea.

Zu dieser Zeit starb Eusebius, der Bischof von Cäsarea in Palästina war und den Beinamen Pamphilus trug, und sein Schüler Acacius wurde sein Nachfolger im Bischofsamt. Dieser veröffentlichte mehrere Bücher, unter anderem eine biographische Skizze seines Meisters.
