Letter XXXV. From Pope Damasus.
Damasus addresses five questions to Jerome with a request for information concerning them. They are:

What is the meaning of the words “Whosoever slayeth Cain vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold”? ( Gen. iv. 5 .)
