XXXIII.

Lighting, then, our torch 1 at the source of that light, by the passionate desire which has it for its object, and striving as much as possible to be assimilated to it, we become men 2 full of light, 3 Israelites indeed. For He called those friends and brethren who by desire and pursuit aimed after likeness to the Divinity.
