13. Wie die Herren gegen die Dienstboten und diese gegen die Herren sein sollen.
Du sollst deinem Knecht oder deiner Magd, welche an denselben Gott glauben, nicht barsch und zornig befehlen, S. 227 damit sie nicht etwa über dich klagen und der Zorn Gottes über dich komme; und ihr, die Knechte, seid euern Herrn als Stellvertretern Gottes unterthan in Achtsamkeit und Furcht, wie dem Herrn und nicht Menschen.

XIII. How Masters Ought to Behave Themselves to Their Servants, and How Servants Ought to Be Subject.
Thou shall not command thy man-servant, or thy maid-servant, who trust in the same God, with bitterness of soul, lest they groan against thee, and wrath be upon thee from God. And, ye servants, "be subject to your masters,"1 as to the representatives of God, with attention and fear, "as to the Lord, and not to men."2
