« Pour ce qui me regarde moi-même, et en ce qui concerne Pompeius de Sabrata, et Dioga de Leptimagnum dont je suis le mandataire, et qui sont absents de corps, mais présents d’esprit, je déclare que nous partageons la doctrine de nos collègues et que nous soutenons avec eux que les hérétiques ne peuvent entrer en communion avec nous qu’à la condition de recevoir le baptême ecclésiastique ».

Natalis of Oà«a 1 said: "It is not only I myself who am present, but also Pompeius of Sabrati, 2 and Dioga of Leptis Magna, 3 who commissioned me to represent their views, being absent indeed in body, but present in spirit, who deliver this same judgment as our colleagues, that heretics cannot have communion with us, unless they have been baptized with the baptism of the Church." 4
