« Si dans leur baptême les hérétiques reçoivent la rémission des péchés, il n’y a plus pour eux aucune nécessité de revenir à l’Eglise. Au jour du jugement les péchés recevront le châtiment qu’ils méritent; pourquoi donc les hérétiques craindront-ils le jugement de Jésus-Christ, s’ils ont obtenu la rémission de leurs péchés? »

Satius of Sicilibba 1 said: "If heretics receive forgiveness of their sins in their own baptism, it is without reason that they come to the Church. For since it is for sins that men are punished in the day of judgment, heretics have nothing to fear in the judgment of Christ if they have obtained remission of their sins." 2
